MacBook Air (Intel)
Intel-based MacBook Air (2018-2020). Common: USB-C charging failure, no-power issues, T2/SMC recovery, display issues.
MacBook Air (M1, M2, M3)
Newer Apple Silicon MacBook Air. Similar to M-series Pro — limited component-level scope but standard repairs (battery, screen, ports) fully supported.
Older MacBook (pre-2016)
Classic MacBook Pro Retina (2011-2015), MacBook Air (2013-2017). Older MacBook models — sometimes economically worthwhile for well-cared-for machines with sentimental or practical value.
MacBook keyboard replacement
Butterfly keyboard (2015-2019) has known failure issues — sticky keys, missing keys. Full keyboard/topcase replacement available. Post-2019 MacBook Pro uses reliable Magic Keyboard.
MacBook Screen Assembly
MacBook screens are usually complete display assemblies (panel + housing + cables) rather than just panels — affects cost. Both Apple-genuine and OEM-equivalent assemblies available.

MacBook has distinctive failure patterns based on generation. Intel-era MacBook Pro (2016-2020) has specific board-level issues that are often economically repairable. M-series MacBooks have fewer component-level options but still support standard repairs.
Bloomberg glow / backlight failure
Screen works but no backlight — showing a faint image visible only with strong external light. Board-level backlight IC replacement (₹5,500-9,500) instead of full logic board swap (Apple quote often ₹40,000+).
No power / no boot

USB-C port failure
Common — port replacement or board-side controller repair. Requires proper tools. Charging port, data port, or specific side port failures.
T2 chip issues
Intel-era MacBook Pro (2018+) has T2 security chip that can fail — causing boot issues, audio problems, SSD errors. Diagnostic and where possible board-level repair.
Battery service
Genuine or high-quality equivalent MacBook batteries. Both MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Includes safe removal of glued-in battery packs.
Screen replacement
Complete display assembly replacement (panel + housing + cables). Both Apple-genuine and equivalent-grade assemblies. Retina display quality matched.
Keyboard issues
Butterfly keyboard (2015-2019) failures — full keyboard/topcase replacement needed. Water damage to keyboards. Individual key issues on newer Magic Keyboard MacBooks.
Water/liquid damage
